EstimateMate ("App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your data.

Information We Collect

Personal Data: We DO NOT collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or location data.

Analytics Data (Anonymous)

To improve the app experience, we use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous, non-identifiable usage data:

• App Events: Actions you perform in the app (e.g., creating estimates, using search)
• Screen Views: Which screens you visit
• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, app version
• Performance Data: App crashes and errors

Important: This data is completely anonymous and cannot be used to identify you personally. We do not track your estimate content, customer names, or any sensitive business information.

How Your Data Is Stored

All your business data is stored locally on your device using SQLite:

• Customer names, phone numbers, cities
• Estimate details (items, prices, totals)
• Company information and terms
• Item library and preferences

You have full control over your data - add, edit, delete, and export as needed.

Third-Party Services

Firebase Analytics (Google)

We use Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC, to understand how users interact with our app. Firebase Analytics collects anonymous usage data as described above.

Data Collected by Firebase:

• Anonymous app usage statistics
• Device information (model, OS version)
• App performance metrics

Firebase does NOT collect:

• Your name, email, or phone number
• Your estimate content or customer data
• Any personally identifiable information

Permissions Used

EstimateMate may request minimal permissions:

Storage (Optional)

Used ONLY for:

• Exporting estimates as text files
• Backing up and restoring data

We do not access any other files on your device.

Internet Permission

Our app requires basic internet permission for:

• Sending anonymous analytics data to improve the app
• Checking app updates

We do not send your personal data, estimates, or customer information to any server.

Data Security

Because we don't store your data on our servers, we cannot access it.

However, we recommend:

• Keeping your device secure
• Using device-level security features (PIN, fingerprint, etc.)
• Regular backups using the app's backup feature

Children's Privacy

EstimateMate is not designed for children under the age of 13.

We do not collect any personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The latest version will always be available on this page.
